  • There are three main concepts which were put together in the logo.

The purple colored initials “V” and “A” are the first letters of name and surname of the President. The color purple was chosen as it is common in Presidential context.

The symbolism of the Library-Museum are encrypted in the style of the initials “V” and “A” which have a look of opened books. The golden rays which appear in between the letter innitials symbolise the light of knowledge.

The two letter initials are also an encryption of the two Presidential cadencies, when Valdas Adamkus was the President of Lithuania. Each initial, styled as book, contain five sheets – the same amount of years each cadency lasted.
